The Rosin Bag Poised upon a massive blister, Cooking but disdaining heat, Shaking off the signs, the closer Contemplates his final pitch. Stepping slowly off the rubber, Swiping at a drop of sweat Stealing for his eye, the closer Jams his shirt beneath his belt. Turning from the waiting batter, Bending from surrounding stands Screaming for a run, the closer Searches for the little bag. RMW |
