take
one step back

when
two forward is good

and if it is requested
to turn around
look back

see what you’ve done
when you’d rather
run

turn around

open your eyes

lift your chin
say “not again”

then turn around

and go forward

in calm.

Amazing! This is a path I have been searching tonight...turning around is not so difficult as I thought...going forward, though, still elusive. Thanks for this!

So much truth here....the past should never be forgotten but used to learn from. No matter what the past was, it brought us to what we are today and that's a positive...excellent thoughts, sunshiny one
