i am a seed
in a field,
conditioned to clamour,
just to grow like
everyone else

i am a leaf,
among others on a tree,
clinging to the same branch,
never to be distinguished
except perhaps
when the wind chooses me
to go for a ride

I wonder
why we try so hard
to find ourselves
while in the confines
of following everyone else
