This was to be a sonnet -
I intended to edit it - until it 'fit' the rules
but I let my muse see it -
I decided to 'go' with my muse's edits - as is -
I like it too much to change it further

Fog has puffed out in the yard like cow’s breath
In the inky sky the moon shines on it
Our day’s work done we relax in our death
Cool humid air invades our sanctuary
auras halo round the candle sconces
Hypnotized I watch the slow gradual beauty
Your hands turn down lace coverlet
white shimmer simmering your silk
Gradually we touch, untangling tensions of our day
your scent warming as your body breathes
Swarming my senses, reeling me in
As fly-like I fall again into my Venus
Trapped in your love

The first duty of love is to listen.

Why cannot my muse touch me like this...it is a wonderful read.  Keep your muse happy, as this suits you very well.

I often tell me editor where to go . . .
(Actually, I try to keep the door locked, but sometimes she sneaks in . . .)
I had never thought of fog as cow's breath!  Wow!
Thanks Wil,

You've made my pastures and the bovines a beautiful place to visit...

even in the fog....

well done Mr. Yeats!

Nature - be it sunrise, sunset, the mountains, the shore, clear skies or foggy
are all part of life I love - I'm glad you found value in this - thank you
