a reading a way to skip through April is to attend a reading or two and then take it all in… and let your mind imagine the poet in your home to find as they share their actions in grinding coffee or in communing with food that they too, look out a window see a robin eavesdropping, head cocked heeding the worm’s turn or espy a rosebud beginning its journey to unpetaling and that poet, such as you might, would be inspired to fling open their mind unfolding how this early bird jerked and hauled on its breakfast or how the perfume of the rose saturated the garden so be amazed at how your mind works just like the poet whose reading one attends, who simply in garnering an idea, taking pen, paper, writing but with desire and passion resembling you |

you've renewed my desire to reattend readings - my poet 'friends' I miss more than I can say - all you've said is true - and you've said it most beautifully |

And, in many cases, not as talented as you. Live for love. Without love, you don't live. |
