These rolling hills,
they sing to me.
Wide open skies
make me feel free.
Southern pride
fills my soul.
Summer breeze
makes me whole.
I love the way
Nashville sings.
That country sound
speaks peace to me.
I long to stare
at the mountain peaks.
If I listen close
I can hear them speak.
The open road
to my spirit calls.
I love the streams
and the water falls.
I could sit
on the river banks,
fish all day
and then give thanks.
When night time comes
I can be found
on the front porch swing
as the sun goes down.
This life I live
is Heaven to me.
I am blessed
in Tennessee.

i've been to Tennessee a couple times, and I hope to go many more, this poem kind of expresses why. It's so beautiful in that state. In fact, my LSU tigers will be playing up there this year, so maybe there's a road trip coming...*S*
