Met in April, sweetly blooming.
Mother Nature, spring was grooming.
How we savored all the hours.
Laughing at the sudden showers.
Every day we've spent together,
Never minding stormy weather.
Now we've had this time of trysting,
I can feel my heartstrings twisting.
As the month draws to a close,
Where we're headed, no one knows.
Will you leave and close the door?
After April, is there more?
