Butterfly landed
on my pinky yesterday
I watched in wonder

~*~

Butterfly kisses
a beautiful gift from God
so soft and so light

~*~

Butterfly remained
I felt at peace with the world
tears came to my eyes

~*~

Thank you Butterfly
for making my day special
I won't soon forget

I plant butterfly bushes and I still get few butterflies.  Your little rhymes are very pretty.  Joyce

Joyce, we were out at the lake yesterday fishing with the kids and sitting still I had the butterfly land on me. It was the first time, and it swept me up in emotions....it was beautiful.....thanks    SEA

SEA~
You would LOVE the butterflies in my yard.
They are quite abundant and come to the lovely garden
I've planted with their favorite flowers.

I've always felt at peace just sitting and watching them ...
and yes ... many a pinky landing ...
so I know just how elated you felt !

Aren't they just so pretty?  I have one that I've had since I was about 17 (man I'm getting old.....lol)  That is the most beautiful color of blue you would ever see. Thanks Sea.....

though pretty, I'm very afraid of butterflies, but the one you write about makes me a little more aware of the beauty, than of the fear. I liked it

How sweet, and what a gift from God.
Very nicely written.

So many wouldn't notice and would therefore, miss the wonder of that gift.  Beautiful!

well you know you had me from the title...
Beautiful Sea ...
(did I ever tell ya about the time a butterfly landed in my heart)

I love your imperfections ... I love your everything ...
Your broken heart ... your broken wings.

Thank you everyone! This was SO magical....I held my breath and watched and just couldn't believe it landed on me.....it was lavender......the whole morning was amazing, there was still snow on the ground....we hiked down to the lake and the spot we normally go to didn't have any snow and the sun was shining bright..... an absolute gift......   SEA

I have to agree with Wil, you could do more with this, and should.  So few of us these days relate in any way to the natural world or to serendipitous events like this.  Write some more, before it fades!

Who could forget the splendor in a butterflies presence, oh I enjoyed this, I follow them everywhere throughout the summer.
