I am just an oyster,
who lives a life of cloisture,
within my oyster shell,
beneath the ocean's swell,
or is that swale?
oh what the hail,
mollusks can't spell,
at least not well.
And so I lay,
day after day,
on ocean's bed,
without a head.
I'm just a blob,
without a job,
yet women seek me,
some men need me,
to find a pearl,
make masts unfurl.
I'm not a crab,
with gift of gab
so now it's time,
to end my rhyme.
Just one last thought,
this oyster's got,
If me you slurp,
I hope you burp,
with indigestion,
at my ingestion.

TIM~
Just when I was wondering where you were -
you slip into the net !

Delightful penning from you~
But you Oyster be ashamed to show up so infrequently !

Tim - a delightful writing about an oyster in the deep, or the shallows? Made me hungry, guess I'll go and see what I can slurp up!
