Forget me not when winter comes again
As crystal flakes float gently through the air;
Remember me when daisies fill the glen,
When hyacinth is blooming everywhere;
Along the ocean side in reverie
Let waves of peacefulness drown sorest grief;
Recall from time to time a memory
A cherished moment shared, however brief;
Again when autumn leaves the warmth behind
And sorrow’s season comes to spend some time
Take comfort in those treasures in your mind
And sing again to springtime’s carefree rhyme.

Forget me not and I will not depart;
You'll find me dancing still within your heart.

Now who could forget you and one of your
cadence kissed sonnets...
they leave a lasting impression
just perfect and beautiful Denise...
and yes... to echo the others...
so lovely to see a poem from you.

I love your imperfections ... I love your everything ...
Your broken heart ... your broken wings.

I was glad this was brought up again, I love it, it has a rich feel to it, and flows wonderfully, Denise, how do you do it!

Denise,
I'm so glad I popped in here this evening to find this beautifully written piece.  My visits seem to be few and far between. But hopefully that will change soon.  This is a very lovely poem.  Thank you for sharing it with us.

Denise,

This is a seasonal beauty.  I can only imagine what a beautiful spirit you must have.

Observe the animals and they shall teach you the nature of life in man. Observe the earth and it shall reveal the nature of life in God.
