      Thoughts You Gave Me

(A reply to your thoughtful words, these you replied to me)

"Tendrils of time glean about thee, true,
     And echo in gentle sighs
The embers of hope...
     of evanescence.
It will be a mystical thing
    ~ This moment~
When one thought is "sorrow"
     And the next a hollow.
But, alas, not as you perceive.
     For time wounds all heals-
'Tis true-
     Shhh-only if you let it.

(These 'Thoughts You Gave Me')

"Time echos thoughts, here and there,
     so many gentle sighs, deep within,
And a faint light of hope,
     comes to surface...

The magic of one moment in time,
     when 'Sorrow' no longer reigns,
But hollow, I do not want,
     tis care, that is a craving...

Yes, the wounds heal, time never flees,
     and it is true,
For deep within it enters, and
     I cherish with a quiet smile,
as it does with comfort,
     knowing, as I let it,
         because of you..........
