Withdrawn just another jagged rhyme forever bumped out of line all the tears that bled slowly fade from red all the things on curbs in heap knowing what to save and keep it is, such a silent word yes. yes. Yes. i think i heard all familiar things..... gone promises.............withdrawn "...the rest is silence" (Hamlet) Shakespeare |

Very, very, very nice. I like the rhythm and the tempo of meter. I envision an emotional snapshot....the freeze frame image of transition between that last surge of emotion and the still calm of numb. |

This is very sad, it reminds me of cleaning up the cubbyholes and not really wanting to throw anything out. I recently tried that but ended up keeping most everything I should have trashed. Kathleen Blake |

A very melancholy poem. I enjoyed it very much. I like poems of a more sad and even morbid nature. I am very new to this web site and it seems great. such a vast array of thoughts. Loved your poem =) your poem pal, Joe |
