He loved me with raw passion I had never known and broke me with an anger just as strong Over and over I rose and fell in sweet love and bleeding tears Trying and failing to reach and hold his expectations And while I could not stop myself from loving him I finally realized it was easiest to do so quietly from a distance beyond his reach where I could give and yet finally be enough Only this time for me |
