again, the light falls on another day
and he again rises from his desk to seek sleep
it's been a while since he's really looked at the mantle
there have been some new pictures added
new faces smile back at him
new influences
new friends. . .

he begins to look at them again
here's one of Poetic Knight
back from the Crusade that is life
to share again with everyone
the tales of his heart
this one of Corinne reminds him
that there are always new friends
to be made even when you think
you know too many people

Now, this one is pretty funny!
what a group. . .
Allan Riverwood, acire, and Dopey Dope
never in the history of mankind
has there ever been such a gathering
of complete silliness. . .

and yet still, newer portraits
Greeneyes, looking like the dream
that is her words
Auguste, truly a troubador of olde,
now sent to enlighten us with
words of life and love
and of course, Mother Earth,
watching over us all
with the eyes that only come
from the knowing of life

and from places where they exist
in more than letters and phrases
are Lady in White, definitely a vison
in her flowing gown of words
and Just a Woman, who is indeed
so much more than her name reveals
there's wandering, who has just
come back from those travels
to share with us what he's learned
and snowpants, who always reminds us of
the beauty that in to be found in nature

these then, are the new portraits
the new lives
          the new feelings
                    the new seeings
                              the new exhibits. . .

the new people that fill his Passions Gallery

Friends of Passions:

With this, my 8,000th post, I've decided to open the Gallery again. So many wonderful people now grace the halls of Passions that I've decided to show them here in the Gallery so that all of you may get to know them a little better, as I have, through their words.

As I looked back through the first Gallery poems, I noticed that it was with my 4,000th post that I began them. . . so, it seems only fitting that I begin the new Gallery exhibit with my 8,000th post.

Thank you again poets of Passions for your words, your inspirations. . . and most of all. . . for your friendship.

Hey Sven... Nice work on the 8 grand...

Your gallery is a wonderful composite tribute to our Passionate clan... What a great idea.

FYI... I'll also be putting together a pictorial page of same... Poets meeting Poets, per se... Accepting contributions here..

Thank you all so much my friends. . . you are why I will always call this place my home. . .

The Gallery is a labor of love for me. . . it's a way for me to say "Thank you" to all of the incredible poets, people, and friends that I've made here. It's a way for me to show them how they and their writings have influenced, inspired, and touched me.

The Gallery will be open tonight. Watch for it. . .

Thank you all again!! You are such wonderful people. . . I shall always be honored to call you friends.
