Night again invades my dreams, Softer simpler seemly things. Churns the ache of anger near, Promise turns to unknown fear. Ignore the pain your need impacts, Trust deceit you can relax. From finer words to deeper draws, Deception soaks your ink soaked claws. I've never tracked the way you speak, But now in tune to lovers' weep. Bend this now, this truth enfolds, Running away as we both are told. Hastily me you stow away, Secret private, yours today. I cannot bear the way you look, Through me as your love you took. So dry my eyes again, you'll see, I've not a heart left to deceive. |

Haunting in many ways. Deceit is never an easy pill to swallow for any of us. Well done. All writing comes |
