how does one find inspiration in times they need it most? it comes at will, and fades away as if it was a ghost. what is there to write about when nothing comes to mind, and though you try and try to seek, still nothing is all you find? who is there to counsel with when poetic thoughts are slacking, and all your favorite peers and friends poetically are lacking? where is one in need of help to stir their mind to go when emotions seemingly run dry, and the words just do not flow? when , if ever, will i be in such a place and time to feel again the inspiration to write a skillful rhyme? why is it that my thoughts fall short and feelings are vague and few each time i sit to think and write? i do not know. do you? |

One would hope you might find inspiration here. There is so much written here, something should provide a spark. Write on! Live for love. Without love, you don't live. |

It seems you had no problem with this very nice, well put poem. I was unable to write anything for ten years and then suddenly, I got the spark again. Now I feel that I write more freely and frequently than I did before. So hang in there, the skill is always present....it just needs a little nudge now and then. Mike |
