Sea of invitation, of longing, adrift in your emerald buoyancy, I overlook life’s demands, glide into release. Each wave ferries a promise to ride high in your embrace – journey into invincibility. Only then am I home. Such exhilaration isn’t made to last, though, soon my skin will pucker, grow cold and blue in your depths, and if I don’t find my way back to shore… © 2001 Corinne Bailey |

Others may 'love' sea urchins - I'm not one - stepping on one is no fun - ~G~ - but the poem - is most beautiful - as all of yours are/have been for me |
