The silvery moon casts a shadow on the lawn As the day now closes And the fairies begin to yawn So busy they have been In my garden all day On a blanket of baby tears fern Is where they now lay Such a paradise for them And certainly for me Whether I'm just admiring my garden Or relaxing under my birch tree The birds have come to roost for the night In my flowering gum As they ruffle up their feathers And wait for the sun But now night has come No more work to be done Time to rest for a while As I begin to smile About the day spent in my garden How happy these thoughts make me feel So tonight I'll dream of my garden Adn know my dreams will be for real Suetang |

SueTang~ What a lovely stroll through your paradise. Such lovely imagery for us to behold. You took me there ... and I thank you. Someday I hope to visit Australia and 'see' even more. I'd love to help you tend your garden ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Thank you Marge. You'd be most welcome to come and visit my garden and sit with me under my beautiful birch tree.....Sue. Suetang |

I love working in my gardens, if only the rain would stop and the warmth would come so I can plant my newest additions... *s ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". |

This is a delight, sue! You've really captured that magical mysterious sense of presence that every gardener knows---left my heart twinkling! |
