His touch is a plume and designs my cheek in a wisp and it rests there. Oh! I feel his presence the moment he walks into the room. Until the first brush of his fingers crosses my lips, to catch the moistness and yes, cause it. I open my mouth slightly and taste him. But when his rough knuckles draw the feeling from my gaze and I know, this is what breath is, When the room is still and everyone leaves… He is! He just is, a part of fantasy, yes. He is time’s gift to me. For ever so dazzling is that arm around my waist as he celebrates the last dance with me. Kay Let no one who loves be called unhappy. Even love unreturned has its rainbow." ~James M. Barrie~ [This message has been edited by Kay (edited 04-15-2001).] |

You've really captured that magical joy here, Kay! Your imagery provoked some very sensory responses! I liked this much. Look forward to reading more from you! |

The intensity of this is amazing. I've read it 3 times and will save it to read again. Thanks. Speak when you are angry--and you'll make the best speech you'll ever regret...Laurence J. Peter |

Subtle sensuality clearly exposed, concluding in an almost somber breath. Pleasing work, Coal |
