Easter Morning Virginia Salter it’s Easter morning night is still black darkness prevails over this piece of earth over this time to celebrate at the rising of the sun the Risen Son it’s almost time to laud the stone’s rolling away the empty tomb the glorious sun-filled day so long ago when darkness was swallowed up with light when Love awakened His promise what shall this day bring what shall it enfold will evidence be clear He’s the One to behold how many shall find the Light as a Beacon in the storm how many shall find the Son through Whom for them Love was born ©April 23, 2000 |
