Drought dry fields burn, sagging trees turn a sickly yellow all my flowers mortally yearn for waters that will resurrect their lives: Through no fault of their own they wilt totally free of guilt... Blessed rains came ~ They lived! I, too, thirsted for more I turned away and slid sadly, sickly, limp to the floor; Needing nourishment for my diseased Soul Through my fault. By His blessed waters I asked forgiveness. Christ is Risen! I am Redeemed. by Panne Happy Easter to All!! I have tried to enter a line break repeatedly in here but it will not accept it - there should be a double space before beginning the 2nd verse after I Lived! Skip 2 spaces and then I, too, - don't know why I'm having problems... maybe one of you can help me with that Please ask for permission before you copy my work to your files or a greeting card. Thank you. Panne [This message has been edited by Panne447 (edited 04-15-2001).] |
