I do not Paint ~ I only Write I do not paint but by word of explanation I color your thoughts I pick up not a brush, but my quill and wash your soul with rainbows I have an eye for color, but no artistic bent to wend a lovely picture that you might gaze upon and fall into as Alice did but I do enjoy what color means knowing that purity, joy and glory await me in white fire, blood and charity are wrapped in robes of red truth and heaven I realize when looking up at blue skies understanding my affinity for my love of green, in the hope of eternal life, a rebirth of nature how purple really means sorrow and suffering and black, most significant, an absence of life so it is fitting today that I share with you, this lovely Easter morning how these colors and their religious symbolism come forth to meet you greet you welcome you remind you that I do not paint, I only write and I only write to leave you with a smile |
