Think of MeIf you should pause to think of me, in sudden swell of languid light, beneath dusk's rush to settle in upon the sill of nearing night, when limbs and mind find ease of day as pleasing as the thrush's trill, perhaps a fragile thought will slow the sighing of the whipoorwill, and I might come to occupy a certain space, a tender one, within your meditation's pace. Please think of me, when day is done. Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |
