You Were There, All Along you are such a sneaky sprite, spiraling through my dreams at night holding up thoughts in candle’s light my Muse who thinks she’s always right you whisper words into my ear and make your intentions, oh, so clear! that you would have me pen, I fear, my deepest feelings that I hold so dear you care not what others might say you goad me on till you’ve had your way like a friend’s Randy Dragon, you won’t go ‘way in acquiescence, I must obey. would I damn you? no, I shan’t lest you leave me alone to rant but will you sing words I may recant? or leave me feeling lost and vacant? ah my Muse, you whisper and implore that I write yet one quiet verse more and as you hold up fast the light of dream you make it far easier than at first it seems I fear though, I shall never be a poet of renown but I know that because of thee I smile with the friends I’ve found. |

I loved all of this little gem - BUT ESPECIALLY: "you whisper words into my ear and make your intentions, oh, so clear! that you would have me pen, I fear, my deepest feelings that I hold so dear you care not what others might say you goad me on till you’ve had your way like a friend’s Randy Dragon, you won’t go ‘way in acquiescence, I must obey." I too am such a victim. You keep me smiling |

Sunshine - this really caught me, and read it a couple of times. This verse I pondered over for a while, "I fear though, I shall never be a poet of renown", and thought the following words: I have read your writings, and from this amatuer can say that they are lovely, and very well done. Keep writing. BC |

Not renown? Surely you jest! You write better than the rest; We all search to find your name. You are in our Hall of Fame! Live for love. Without love, you don't live. |
