DEW PROCESS

When it is early spring
and I want my grass to grow
I wait as long as possible
to apply my H2O.

Oh, to the beds I give a bit
to loosen up the clod
but little do I pour upon
the brownly laden sod.

Just a bit to cling
the weed and feed that I wheel on
to nurture well the blades of grass
and cease the weeds from spawn.

In morning dew or a bit of mist
is where I place my hope
to bring the ‘spanse to green
and far away from taupe.

Surely you can plainly see
just what I rely upon
moisture from the heavens
and dew process of the lawn.
