The night air was chilly As it brushed across my bare shoulders I looked at the stars So clear, so bright Mesmerizing I heard the noise from inside As the door opened from behind me I looked at the moon reflect on the lake So clear, so bright Mesmerizing I felt your hand on my shoulder As I turned to look at you Deep into your eyes So clear, so bright Mesmerizing Your hand glazed my cheek As I smiled gently at you You leaned in and kissed me Mesmerizing "In three words I can sum up everything I learned about life: It Goes On" |
