hey yall.  this one is from my archives.  i wrote this a few months back for a very special person and is still a very special person to me.  but i never posted it.  so here it is.  tell me what yall think.  

confessions from the darkness

i watch you from the darkness
i see all of your tears
all i want to do is hold you
and take away your fears
i can see all of you pain
when i look deep into your eyes
you try to put up your mask
but i see through that disguise
i know that you are hurting
and i wish i knew what to do
but you are 300 miles away
and my arms cant huggle you
i can hear the tremble in your voice
whenever you speak his name
you say that you should have never let your heart out
and your taking all the blame
but it wasn't your fault Hun
you cant control your heart
you cant hold back your feelings
that you had from the very start
i know cuz i have tried
and i tried and tried again
to not let my feelings take hold
to not let anyone get close again
but it never works
in fact it just causes pain
it tears us up inside
and slowly drives our hearts insane
i know that you are hurting now
and i know you think that you love is through
but just look into my eyes
and you will know that is not true
for i have always loved you
even before we met
and i will always love you
please don't ever forget
no matter what happens in the future
a friend you will have in me
i pray one day we will be together
but i will just wait and see
if it happens then i will be happy
i will be floating on the air
and it would have been the most beautiful person in the world
that had put me there
but if it doesn't
then your friend i will always be
always there to help you and hold you
whenever you need me
you have a beautiful soul
and your eyes turn me to mush
i can tell i am making you red
cuz you always tell me to HUSHHHH
well i have hushed to long
i want you to know how i feel
i want to show you how much i care
and that i am for real
i know it will take a long long time
for you to mend your heart
but when you do i wont be far behind
for we are never far apart
thank you for being my friend
and thank you for loving me
you have gotten me threw many a lonely night
when there was no hope that i could see
you touched my heart deeply
and words can not show
how much you mean to me
and how i care about you so
i know i am a long shot
but sometimes long shots pay off big
even the mightiest trees
where once a lonely twig
i know it will be along time
before you can love again
but just always remember
that i am here my friend
i know we can do it
the chemistry is there
but i know i will have to wait
so I'll just sit back and stare
at the most beautiful woman in the world
and i mean that to be true
one day i hope you can see in me
what i see in you...
