( I wrote this for my granddaughter and her baby to be, when she let me in on her secret last May. Hannah was born January 4th 2001 and is beautiful) Dear little baby under my heart, I'm dreaming of whom you will be. Will you find riches, will you find fame? Your future is waitng you see. Will you forgive me for bringing you here, To a world as imperfect as it is? Or will you be the one who will turn it around, To a place that is better than this? You Daddy and I are happy and proud, And everyone's wishing the best, For the dear little babe who is coming so soon, To our humble home and your nest. You'll find so much love just waiting for you, With Daddy and Brother and me. We'll keep the world out, as long as we can And you'll be as safe as can be. Sooner or later, we'll have to let go, For you'll want to try out your wings. Butjust for a while, you'll be all snug and warm, In a crib full of blankets and lullaby things. Joyce 5/21/2000 |

Joyce~ I think this gets my Awwwwwwwww-Award-Of-The-Day ! Precious. I just adore the name 'Hannah' ... which means Grace Of God in Hebrew. Perfect ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
