Eyes and Lashes A paper chain boggles my mind Hackles that shackle, words that blind Spacing my head, lacing my heart All by the lures, of female art. Letters, promises, poems of rhyme Phantoms, ghosts that overlooked time Butterflies with gossamer wings Fireflies, that light up a spring. I journey on red coals of brash Blinded by her eyes and her lash. Delight the bait and delight my sate Delight was the sun and my state. She opened me a wondrous door To ecstasy and even more. A touch if sin, a touch of whim A touch of gay, the light was dim. A single kiss, a single wink Smothered in bliss I could not think. |
