Words forming phrases Just letters strung together Meaningless to some More to a poet Than weaving words together Are the thoughts therein Each word slaved over Drowned in tears, sweat encrusted, Blood-stained evidence Evidence of love Sediment of life’s mem’ries Dark secrets revealed Words of a poet Tools of passion, fear, and hurt Just words, but MY words. Live for love. Without love, you don't live. |

They are never "just words" my friend, they are a reflection of life in one way or another. The life we live or the life we strive for. All writing comes |

I'll second that AMEN My library must have this, a heartfelt and true write! Words to people are merely words, but, words to poets are the beautiful breath of life~ Take care, Melissa~ |

Words Aren't we glad to have them and a word may have many meanings and a poet may make up his own meaning. Bravo. Joyce |
