I'm on the wane
diminishing
I'm refrained
I pull the sea
and all the tides
are at my whim
I am sustained
in Luna's Hymn...
I am the cycles of the moon...
I am the humming of the tune.

I am Orb upon the wax,
the fullness of the fish tide tax
and mysteries of fishman's dull
to know he is a part of all
and to love her in full light
and keep her always
in his sight
Lunacy of lover's plight--
to wax- to wane- to love sustain...
in dread of loveless Luna's might.
in knowledge of the stead of friend
to know her and to love again.

Everybody writes about the Moon, but not everybody does it like this. . . and launched in first person no less. The personification of nature has many interesting possibilities.
