Sometimes I feel remiss, That I've simply been dismissed, Invisible to the day, Crowds of children play, Never inviting, If they could only see, The child behind the smile, Standing all alone, Wanting desperately to be loved, Echoes of remorse, Yet still they walk on by, I silently sigh yet never compromise, My beautiful smile, Even to this day, All grown up with a say, I feel a twinge of sad dismay, For not knowing, how to be a child. If I knew, had a clue, Maybe then someone would share the laughter, I needed more than tears.. [This message has been edited by Rosebud1229 (edited 04-09-2001).] |

Thank you RMW, it's the inner peace of God that does carry me through. Sometimes though the struggle within is the real war. |
