The Jars of Cana

Cool,
Pure,
As though to claim
Something of the well
Contained
Within his eyes.
Something of the fading Light
That willed the sunset share its hue
Of blood-dark wine
With me
And you.

and it was a wedding

and He has gone to prepare the room for His bride and when the Father tells Him the room is ready, He will return for us as a theif in the night, and the best wine will then be served, the best wine of all

Let me tell you, this is the second poem of yours that I've searced out and I am very much impressed with your work. If you haven't already been published, I suggest you get some of this stuff out there. Great writing
