Little legs of Chubb and feet of block Our son sets off to take his first walk. With a determined mind and a temper to match He grasp’s his walker and set’s off on his task. Slowly but surely, he takes those first strides Guiding his walker, You can see the look in his eyes A New World has been opened for him to see. To explore and discover what this life can bring. This feeling of pride shall always be new For this is one of the many splendid things he’ll do. I’ll always be surprised and amazed at his spirit And never take forgranted the little things that go with it. Our son, the boy that I’ve always had in my dreams Make’s his parents proud with his smile and gleam. Whatever he does and where ever he goes I want him to know that we’ll always be proud. I love you son! Daddy. |
