When sleep won't come easily The cares of the day Cluttering my mind Like stadium debris After the game I close my eyes And I see you Feel you laying next to me Smell your fragrance Your womanly scent Touch the silken softness Of your skin Taste the fruity sweetness Of your kiss Yes, my imagination Is that vivid! As I give myself to it You -give yourself To me And - as we give our love To one another Taking us over Over the edge In the denouement As sleep takes me away I know with certainty What it seems I've always known That it is you You are the embodiment Of my dreams Our love is at the crux Of my want Only you Bring the peaceful Sleep Of love The first duty of love is to listen. |

And in my dreams I hold you close Closer than the light of day Breathing every breath you take Til the morning comes This was such a lovely lullaby |
