My mind so full of naked sorrow This truly has been an age of regret Your sweet ripeness and your blind soul Has so much to be desired There is so much of me you cannot see My world has so many lies and so much deceit Now here we lay Closed in our bed Caught under our sheets Here we are you and me My weary life Your sad unknowing soul There is so much torture in me You can never know What a wicked little monster you have married And that once you said "I Do" The mangled life inside of me Vowed to never let you go |

There is much pain and anguish hidden in these lines. Very powerful poem. All writing comes |
