Pelicans |

Pelicans They seem to need both line and space. And so, at dusk, With drooping pouches Darkened against the sunset, An undulating score of notes Appears along the swell's face. Later, Beyond the dissonance of gulls Shrieking amidst the litter of a picnic, Their harmony lingers. RMW |

This is great! It raised images in my mind of watching pelicans at evening on Pyramid Lake in Nevada. They are an interesting bird, I think. Betty Lou Hebert |
