Sadness blue And envy green I’m telling you The things I’ve seen Through the years So dark and cold I count the tears As I grow old Loving pink And passion red Are what I think Whilst in my bed Yellow burns My eyes so bright While orange turns My love to fright A cyan stain Or chocolate brown Will ease my pain As I lie down Purple gold And fuchsia mist They made me bold As death I kissed The darkest black It follows me As I look back No white I see The final cost I hate to say I find I’m lost In shades of gray G.
