Music A canvas of time, A canvas of space, A musician's breeding ground for life, A genre's gene pool describing their race. A torn down tree, pressed and colored to the white of snow. A dot with a line followed by a dot then a line. Waiting patiently for the music to grow. A melody attached to be heard An instruments wavelength with an endless curve. Take the time to look closer, to look deeper, especially to the mind, comprehending: up to down, from left to right consuming every sound, color, space and time. On this canvas I place it, and It is called music. "In this very breath that we take now lies the secret that all great teachers try to tell us." -Gem Whitefield [This message has been edited by Tasin Ray (edited 07-02-2001).] |

Beautiful descriptions here. I'm a musician myself. I currently play the clarinet, tenor sax, and am taking up guitar and drums this summer. I love composing my own little snippets of pieces as well. I really liked this piece. Nice job. ~* Megs *~ I love the lines some men use to get us into bed. "Please, I'll only put it in for a minute." What am I, a microwave? |
