Mine is a dark choir that sings to the stars Its voice caressing and inflicting the scars Of a thousand songs of wishful love And it will never change its tune Love is the hammer that beats on my heart Its claw is pulling and ripping apart The fancies I so desperately dream And it can never stop too soon Dreams are the poison to slake my thirst Their lies and promises taste the worst But nothing else is truly mine And from these dreams, my life is hewn Sing while you may |

Wow. Sleep can often be an escape or a hell. I hope your night hours improve for you. Very well done piece. :-) ~* Megs *~ I love the lines some men use to get us into bed. "Please, I'll only put it in for a minute." What am I, a microwave? |

looking for some fresh stuff that could be buried, and wondering where you are. I love this. I will not bend to the cowardice of a silent judgement. |
