The love I once had for you

The love I once had for you,
Was as beautiful as a rose
when it first bloomed.

The love I once had for you,
Was like the first time I
saw your sweet face.

The love I once had for you,
Is like a mother recieving
her newborn child.

The love I once had for you,
Has now vanished in what seems
like thin air.

Cause you have broken my heart,
And made my emotions swell inside me,
I no longer can say "I love you"
and mean it.

I wonder day by day,
what step I took that was wrong,
I wonder day by day,
Why we didn't get along.

The wondering will still continue,
Until this mystery is solved,
Because it was you that I once loved....

NOTE: this poem was ALSO written for my mother!!

My goodness! I didn't realize everyone would like that poem so much! I actually didn't really care for that one as much as I did the others. But thank you so so much!
