This Juliette was bleeding, With a sword deep in her heart. Her Romeo had left her, He promised they would never part. But those were all lies, Everything that he said. It was just a game to him, So lies is what he fed. Now she weeps uncontrolable, On the shore of the sea. Wishing he would come back to her, For they were meant to be. The she looked up, Deep into the sky. And saw a pretty rainbow, And she knew she'd get by. She ripped the sword from her heart, With tear stains on her cheeks. Even though she may be hurting now, In the future she will not be weak. For she know's she did nothing wrong, She was not to blame. She know's she's better off without him, Without his lies, and mindgames. |

H. A. - the favor is returned. i enjoy reading your poems, and you have an instinctive grasp of image that is very evocative. Wonderful! i have one minor point of criticism: once in a while in your poems i bump into a misspelling, which kinda tosses you head-first out of the fascinating images you convey and back into hard, cold reality. *bump* ouch! try writing your poems in MS Word first, and using the spell check, then copy-and-pasting it in here.... other than that, outstanding work, and i look forward to more of it -Napalm I Love The Smell Of Napalm In The AM!
