The times I've tried to understand you,
it never seemed to work.
The few words you spoke to me made me happy,
happier than I'd been before.
You're like a poison,
flowing through my body.
But you bring neither pain nor death,
you bring confusion and lust.
How you control me!
I can't get over it,
but I like it.
Half awake,
maybe half asleep,
I give in to you,
over and over agian.
Can I possibly love you?
Is that the cause of my confussion?

I also know this feeling. Over and over, we say "it won't work, he's all wrong...etc"
We KNOW it, and yet we continue to be with them, to give in. Well, if it was truly meant to be, it will. Great work.
