A whistling bird The croak of the frog Is what can be heard When you're lost in a fog The silence is deafening Fraught with a chill It robs you of everything Even your will But still you forge on With courage and might To coming of dawn And the first rays of light The light it will heal The scars that you bore The clouds that conceal Will now be no more So carry on proudly And shed not a tear Yell triumph so loudly You've nothing to fear Do drink of your wine For your battle is won And with this last line My story is done G. A. WEBB Regret not that which you have done, Rather that which you haven't [This message has been edited by G. A. Webb (edited 05-15-2001).] |
