I Came Here Alone I came here alone by no one’s choice it turns out someone was wanted until I showed up Oops, wrong kind, can’t you send it back? This poem reminds me of someone I know who was the surviving twin in a difficult birth and always felt that the 'wrong' twin had been born. Intensely written! |
