Hypocrisy reigns here, A fickle nature resides in your heart. When I met you, You promised that you were true. You swore you wouldn't hurt me, You swore that you cared. All you claimed to be, Just fabrication in your mind. All over now, But I will survive on my own. You are gone, But you've taught me so much... If I knew then, what I know now, I'd do it all over again. The pain I feel, has a purpose, And wiser now am I. "I've come too close to happiness, to have it swept away,don't think I can take the pain, never fall again..." Janet |

great poem...jenn.. i personally liked these lines "When I met you, You promised that you were true" cause that line is so real.. i related to this poems in some sense.. great job and i'm glad that you are now posting again in dark passions..cya~ ![]() if i die before i wake , i pray the lord my soul will take-"when thugs cry" |
