As i lay in my bed,
Then slowly open my eyes.
A pale cream colored figure appeared,
Much to my suprise.
She reached out her hand,
Without speaking a word.
Her eyes sparkled with warmth,
She finally has heard.
She came to take me,
Away from my pain.
To a world of love,
Not one drowning in rain.
As i got up and got ready to go,
I realized that it is I,
Who like her,
Started to glow.
My wish was finally heard,
I'm being taken away.
No longer being tortured,
By the upcoming days.
I couldnt believe this was happening,
My breath was taken away.
My heart stopped beating,
And all the pain and heartache,
Went astray.
As i smiled contently,
The angel took her hand out of mine.
Apologized with sorrow,
And said it was a mistake,
It wasnt my time.
The life rushed back to me,
"How could this be a mistake?
You came to grant my wish,
My life for you to take!"
She vanished to the sky,
Leaving me in dismay,
I guess i'll just have to keep wishing,
Until the angel gets my wish right one day.

Maybe it's not time because some good things are in store for you upon this earth...heaven will come soon enough without wishing for an early demise...James
