A small job, a major burden, A small favour, how dare you even ask? Thoughtfulness, a long forgotten memory, Consideration - a non refundable task. Generosity, a sin before God himself, Understanding, a silly word used by those new agers, Religion - ba humbug! So tell me without some of these who will save us? Selfishness done so well, Me, me, me! Their anthem, Lack of soul, HA! It's just a word! People get so tired of the raving and ranting. Laughter only comes from filth, Sympathy, no one deserves except their kind, Never will they learn, Nor the secrets and understanding will they find. A dark life lived in limbo, No effort, no reward, Take me far away from these evils, Save me from their wrath my Lord!!!!! *War produces one thing - Cemetaries. And in cemetaries there are no enemies!* |

Good read, Isis. You point out what are truly "the signs of the times". The answers are supposed to be there, "He that hath an ear let him hear." Again, thanks for the question. "The poet is the priest of the invisible." |

Indeed. . . let them hear. . . excellent my friend. . . -------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. [This message has been edited by Isis (edited 03-27-2001).] |

*Applauds* Very nicely done! Great poem. --Marie I never thought that you would ever be the one to let me down. I guess that just goes to show how wrong I always am. |
