Born of the first house
birth of 1348
into port she sailed
a ship from Spain
torch in hand
cornfield set alight
rampant through the streets
striking in spite
One of the four has arrived
a steed to carry him through
claiming his dowry
long since due
cobblestone wet
speaking soft, sweet breath of death

Marseilles has fallen
and she shall fall again

Smiling because I didn't have to ask for the story...LOL
Thought I was going to have to, till I saw Karen's reply.

And yep, Sue...I'd say you did good.

How's about some more of this educational
type stuff...pretty please?

one of the four has arrived. I like his, sounds prophetic with a touch of the deep. Nice style with this one. Nice write lw.
