I awoke screaming Into the nightmare of reality Where few survived. Even fewer had the will to live in a ravaged world where acrid, swirling murk was our only heritage. The product of greed. Where are the men of vision, Saviour of mankind? Gone,in the caustic winds of nuclear vengeance. |

Where there's good..there's evil. Forces at work to destroy are not the Saviour. He is the one that offers hope!!!!! I am convinced of that now more than ever. I sense the urgency in this write. Wow! SharaRose @-->-- Of sound, and speech let all lift the hearer! |

Shararose, having read through the poem again I can see that I should have chosen another word for saviours.It is meant to be the government. Unfortunately we don't have an edit button or I would change it. Maggie |
